Bro. Henry and his wife Sherri, came to Mt. Zion Baptist on August 7, 2005.  He and his wife have been married since August 7, 1999.  Bro. Henry grew up in a family of four kids, being the youngest, son of a Baptist Minister. He came to know the Lord as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 15 years old. When he was younger, Bro. Henry had always wanted to become a Pastor and would pray for it all the time.  When he was 13, while trying to talk in front of people he felt as though he was to shy and thought that his dreams of ever preaching would never come true.  A year after he was saved, his father had gotten sick and there was no one to take his place.  Bro. Henry feeling as though he had no choice took his father's place for that one Wednesday night, it was during that service that Bro. Henry knew what God had called him to do.

After several years, Bro. Henry's calling did come to pass and now he is here at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Bro. Henry's vision while he has been here at Mt. Zion has been one to encourage, to get the people to see that if they would willingly give their hearts and lives over to God anything would be possible.  Bro. Henry does not only have a desire to see souls come to Christ but to see them to mature.
